Journey to a New World.
Tiny white speck, that moves amid the stars,
Volunteers all, on a rocket ship to Mars.
Sleeping, breathing, seven in the pod,
Never going back now, doesn't it feel odd.
Come so far, a million miles clear,
No way to get back from here...
On our journey to a new world,
Leaving what we must, behind,
To find, a home, a hope, a dream.
Driven from a war zone, forty to a boat,
Human hearts just trying to stay afloat.
Waves are wind tossed, jostling the stars,
Might as well be drifting on a journey out to Mars.
Come so far, halfway clear,
No way we'll turn back from here...
On our journey to a new world,
Leaving what we must, behind,
To find, a home, a hope, a dream.
Now that we have landed, aliens here,
What comes next is not exactly clear.
Tears of joy, its simply good to be alive,
Living in new danger, how will we survive?
Come so far, to stand so near,
Human hearts will help us here...
On our journey to a new world,
Leaving what we must, behind,
To find, a home, a hope, a dream.
